This publication presents a notable contribution from researchers engaged in the field of studies and practices in defense of human rights. It results in a meticulous work of mapping the vast literature on one of the most perverse manifestations of this current social issue: sexual violence against women. Twenty years of studies on the subject are made available, both to specialized audiences and the general public, in books, chapters, articles in scientific journals, institutional research reports, doctoral theses, master’s dissertations, undergraduate papers, talks in scientific events, legislation, and films, throughout various fields. The publications mapped in this work aim to study sexual violence against women, its contexts, legislation, and public policies to fight the problem.
