Abortion

J.REP

Abortion is a common reproductive event in the lives of women and people who can become pregnant. For various reasons, at some point in their lives, people of different social classes, ages, and regions interrupt their pregnancy in Brazil. Given the restrictive laws we currently have in the country, the majority of these people are exposed to the risk of death or imprisonment, going through unsafe procedures in secret. However, it should not be like this. To understand abortion as a public health problem that affects women and people who can become pregnant is to fully consider them as human beings with rights.
