The aim of this book is to present reflections on everyday issues of difficult moral intermediation. Topics such as abortion, new reproductive technologies, poverty, and euthanasia are discussed, but without the formality of academic works, long and filled with theories and quotations. Some chapters, due to the importance of their topics when they were published, were included in their original versions, without modifications. Almost all of the selected material was produced by four hands or was the product of the authors’ intellectual activity in the three previous years.
