One of the fundamental values of a democratic society that fights for equality and citizenship for all people is equity for justice. Actions to protect rights must then consider oppressive structures that threaten the existence of certain bodies. People with disabilities often fight for the fundamental right of being in the world. The restrictions of bodies with disabilities result from the interaction with social barriers, values, and practices that discriminate against disabled people. We work for a society free of discrimination, in which there is no normality ideology. The debate about disability and equality concerns all spheres of social life: income, care, education, work, health, among many others.
